Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs)

The Employee Assistance Programme's philosophy is to provide an effective strategy to encourage and assist employees to overcome personal problems, which are affecting their work performance. These can include stress, emotional problems, financial problems, relationship difficulties, alcohol /drug problems and many more.

Our Employee Assistance Programmes provide a mechanism, within a supportive and confidential framework, to help employees to recognise and acknowledge that there is a problem and to make the appropriate positive changes.

How Does it Work?

The Clinic will establish a tailored service for your company based on your needs. For instance, a confidential telephone help line can be provided to your employees to enable them to book telephone or face-to-face appointments with our trained staff. Alternatively, your personnel managers or occupational health department can refer employees to the clinic. The Clinic will also refer your employees onto organisations, which deal with non-stress related areas as appropriate, e.g. legal or financial issues. (See our other corporate services) The Clinic can also provide management feedback on the types of common difficulties being faced by employees via reports on usage of the EAP service.
